Tap into the ancient art of the original perfume – incense – in this creative morning masterclass to create your very own astrological incense. The burning of fragrant plants in the form of incense is thousands of years old and has roots in many cultures, religions and traditional health practices from all over the world. 

 Creating your own, personalised incense, is a wonderful way to tap into the unique wisdom of plants and their ancient historical and folkoric use to enhance your personal space and ceremonial practices, such as mediation, study, rituals or to support creative practices. 

Creating an incense blend based on astrology is rather a subjective and arbitrary pursuit as there are so many interpretations and there are a vast number of plants and fragrant materials that do not have traditional planetary assignment, so we have a lot of creative license at our disposal!  However, we shall draw inspiration from your key personal planets, the Sun, Moon and Ascendant and you will be guided to blend an incense that embodies your finest qualities, and to exalt and support your  key traits. 

We shall explore a brief history of incense and its traditions, look at each zodiac sign, planetary rulers and their aromatic plant correspondences, safety and blending guidelines.  In a relaxed and interactive session, you will have fun creating a beautifully fragrant, even-burning loose incense using the finest resins, herbs, flowers, spices, woods, powders and essential oils.

You will take home your Zodiac incense blend in a gorgeous jar, together with a small selection of samples and detailed workshop notes
